It  was  started  in  2007  with  a  student  population  of  12  girls. Over  the  period  of  the  years  the  number  has  increased  to 100  students. It  is a boarding  and  day  school.

Light  Academy  Girls  School  offers  I.G.C.S.E  (Cambridge) syllabus.

For  quality  learning  the  management  has  ensured  that  a  class  size  of  15-20  students  is  maintained. The  student-  teacher  ratio  is  1:15. This  gives  each  student  ample  and  quality  time  with  her  teacher.
