-  1 Football (Soccer) fields, one of which can also double up as hockey pitch.
- The school rears dairy cattle for boarding student’s consumption.

Holds a Greenhouse Technology where most of boarding students (consumption) vegetable is grown

Sheikh Khalifa secondary technical and secondary school was established in February 1985.   It is situated 7 km from Mombasa on the Mombasa Malindi Highway.

A gesture of good will meant to strengthen  and foster good relations between the people of United Arab Emirates and Kenya led to the school being built and maintained by the then Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi who is currently the President of U. A. E.  The foundation stone was laid down by the former Kenya President, H. E. Daniel Arap Moi on 27th August, 1982.

Eighty boys were admitted in form two and in 1987 (3 years) sat for K.C.E.  In 1988 a group of 20 boys completed a 2 year artisan course in Technical education. The results of the two examinations were not good enough.   It was in 1989 when the first lot of boys and girls sat for the K.C.S.E under the 8-4-4 education system.  The total intake of the school was 76. The intake was unrestricted and drew students who could not be placed in good secondary schools.

The main objective of the school was to strive for excellence in academics and strong faith in Islam. Its motto AL ILM WAL IMAN generated a strong and continuous hard struggle towards achieving the goal  of the school. It therefore introduced a broad academic curriculum blended with Islamic teachings.    Our school vision is:
