Pwani ExpoTech 2015 set for January 23-24 in Mombasa

Mombasa is set to host an exclusive Expo focusing on ‘Pacing with Technology and Ultimate Regional Security’ at the town’s Recreational Facilities Management Limited (Aga Khan Jubilee Hall) next to University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus from Friday January 23 to Saturday January 24.
The Expo, organized by Mombasa Tech Community, will have a two-day Exhibition and Conference which is meant to act as a platform for building a tech-savvy generation of challenging and innovative youth who will be the future eye of technology in Mombasa and Kenya at large. The Expo will also act as a place for IT and non-IT centric organizations to network and share security and technological ideas, create awareness about their brands and showcase their products and solutions.
The Expo will consist of a premier Tech & Security event and Developer Hackathon packed with inventive, memorable and unique activities that will bring valuable and professional experience directly through an infusion of fresh energy and ideas along with validation of current practices.
The event, the first in the coastal town, is expected to draw speakers from reputable organizations across various industries, both local and international. Amongst the chief guests shall be the governor of Mombasa Mr. Ali Hassan Joho and the MP of Mvita constituency Mr. Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir.
