“And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful” (English Translation of the Qur’an, An-Nur 24.31).

This Ramadan is an opportunity to turn back to Allah. An opportunity to beg for forgiveness for all our sins regardless of their enormity or minuteness.

Now is the time to REPENT.

We are to repent, always, but Ramadan is the best time to go back to Allah (SWT) and work on our relationship with our Rabb. It is expected that we work on ourselves as well to perform acts of worship with good intentions. It was narrated by Muslim, that Rasulallah himself “was reported seeking forgiveness from Allah seventy times a day.”

The truth is that we make mistakes on a daily basis, some of which we are aware of and some of which we are not. We repent for the sins we are aware of, but what of the sins that we overlook?

May Allah have mercy on us and allow us to repent for all our sins, known and unknown.

Ameen
